Made with Global Organic Textile Standard certified cotton, ethically sourced organic beeswax, and traditionally harvested pine (no jojoba oil), these wraps are a versatile and more sustainable way to cover, store and wrap food such as fruits, vegetables, bread and leftovers. Easy to shape, they can be used to cover containers of all shapes and sizes and once used can be easily cleaned so they’re ready to use again.

Crafted from ethically sourced organic beeswax, Global Organic Textile Standard certified cotton and traditionally harvested pine resin, Bacofoil® Beeswax wraps are a more sustainable way to cover, store, freeze and wrap food such as fruits, vegetables, bread and leftovers.

Easy to care for, Bacofoil® Beeswax wraps can be used up to 500 times and their natural antibacterial properties and special pliability help keep food fresh for longer.

They work simply using the warmth of your hands. This helps to melt the beeswax, softening the wrap enough to mould it around containers and food products. The Beeswax wrap will hold its seal once it starts to cool down. Additionally, these wraps are easy to clean with cold water, reusable, and the durability of cotton means it won’t tear.

When the beeswax wrap has lost its grip or the wax coating has worn off and is no longer useful, it can biodegrade, or be put to a second purpose and cut it into strips and used as twist ties for the garden or firestarters for your BBQ or campfire

Preparation and Usage

Use the warmth of your hands to make the Bacofoil Beeswax Wrap smooth

Place over bowl, plate or object of your choice and gently press it to shape

The wrap will hold its shape when it cools creating a seal

Safety Warnings

Not recommended for use with uncooked meat and fish, or pineapple

Not suitable for use with foods high in fat

Avoid temperatures above 30°c

To dispose of this product and it’s packaging responsibly please do the following: Where applicable – First of all check your local recycling options for cotton, paper, cardboard, foil, metal and plastic packaging. We find that local supermarkets provide good recycling options.

Wrap: Fully biodegradable

Cut Beeswax wrap into smaller pieces to speed up the decomposition process. Toss your clean and cut wraps into a compost bin or pile, where they will naturally break down over time​
