Looking for a power snack for when you’re feeling a little hungry between meals? These homemade fruit bars are so easy to prepare and provide a healthy alternative to store-bought snacks! Use this basic recipe and add your own twist by adding whichever combination of dried fruit you’d like.
Ingredients
100 g Dried fruit (e.g. dried figs, apples, or plums)
30 g oats
2-3 tbsp Sunflower seeds
2-3 tbsp Nuts
4 tsp Fruit juice
Wafers
Method
Mix the dried fruit of your choice, oats, sunflower seeds, nuts and fruit juice in a blender until they’re the consistency you prefer
Spread the mixture on a wafer and place a second wafer on top & press down – simple!
